Consular services are being provided at the Embassy

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Swiss Confederation, in Bern city, begins to provide consular services from December 11, 2023. Citizens will be accepted at the Embassy only after prior registration which is done by the following link: https://keliauk.urm.lt/consult-registration. Consular reception will be carried out from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 12:00 hrs. Phone inquiries on consular issues will be answered Monday - Friday, from 13:00 to 16:00 hrs. Useful information about personal identity documents, civil registration and other consular functions can be found on the Embassy's website: https://ch.mfa.lt/, at the "Konsulinė informacija" section.

Citizens will be provided with consular certificates and extracts certifying records of civil status. Notarial documents will be prepared. It will be possible to order new identity documents, submit documents for registration of marriages concluded abroad, obtain the first identity documents for children born abroad, manage citizenship matters.

The Embassy is temporarily located inside the Murifeld office building at Weltpoststrasse 5, CH-3015 Bern. If citizens arrive at the Embassy by vehicle, they are able to park them in the parking lot. Citizens arriving by train to Bern Central Station should choose tram No. 6 tram to “Egghölzli“ stop or tram No. 8 to stop “Weltpostverein“ stop. Upon entering the Murifeld building, please contact the employee at the „Welcome desk“ who will provide further instructions on how to access the Embassy premises.
